Darren Brown, famed UK Mentalist, will be taking a few days off his Svengali stage show to give testimony in court against his housekeeper Ricio Pavon-Navarrete and an accomplice Bernard Ayanbanjo. The two have been charged with one court of theft and two counts of fraud. Ricio is accused of stealing two blank checks from Darrens house and passing them off to Bernard who cashed them for up to 33,000 pounds or $50,000 for our US readers. The two have been held on unconditional bail until their next court date.
