Video of the Wayne Attack!!! Why Wayne Was Attacked!!

In the first article we posted about the attack on Wayne Houchin found here , all that was known was that he was attacked. Below is an article found and translated by Eric Mueller. We here at TDD thank him whole heartedly and we give it to you as well as a small discussion that was held between Myself (Xavior Spade) Tony Chang and John Born.

Since you will have noticed, from Monday, the 26th of November, our messages diminished notably and the fact is that unfortunately our team was attacked criminalmente in the person of Wayne Houchin.

Only the rapid and efficient intervention of the rest of our team saved the life of Wayne.

In these moments he is stable, but sadly some so-called ‘journalists’ lacking in professionalism and in human sensibility, have taken such an unfortunate event lightly and like I motivate of mockery.

Misters Aridio Castillo and Domingo Bautista of the Super Magazine, accused our team of practising publicly VooDoo and Witchcraft and that the above mentioned attack was a divine justice for the nastiness of the practices of our artistic cast.

We request all our friends for his prayers and positive thoughts for the prompt recovery of our friend and partner Wayne Houchin.

Some of the wording is a bit “off” from the translation, but it appears from the gist of this post that he was attacked by two hosts of a TV Magazine style show who accused him of practicing Voodoo or the Dark Arts.

Again thank you to Eric Mueller! Now just so everyone knows I posted this article from my phone as soon as Lee Asher told be about the incident. So apologies for all the reposts as my phone was giving me errors. That being said what was important to me was word got out. And hopefully I was able to help with that. Soon after posting that article I left to spend some good times with my good friends John Born and Tony Chang. We spoke quite a bit about this situation and how horrible it is, we also wish nothing for the best for our brother in magic Wayne. However an interesting discussion started on how people from certain cultural or religious backgrounds have reacted to our magic. And what seemed is that history repeats its self and in some ways some cultures and religions hinder understanding or willingness to understand(*** IMPORTANT NOTE: This is in no way putting down any cultures or religions, believe what makes you a better person. These are my own opinions and no one else’s. ) When someone does a card trick and the first reaction is that it is “satanic” or “dark” shows me that instead of understanding that it is nothing more than entertainment. People allow their fear to take over this lack of understanding and causes adverse reactions sometimes. For the most part it’s just a funny story to tell people years later. But as we can see from what happened to Wayne sometimes it can go too far. It doesn’t matter if he felt it was “dark” or not it is in NO way ok to do such a thing to a fellow HUMAN BEING!!! If you are religious then leave it up to your “God” or higher power to deliver justice. DO NOT TAKE IT UPON YOUR SELF TO BE JUDGE, JURY, AND EXECUTIONER!!! There is no person who is better than anyone else!! And anyone who things other wise is a FOOL. Take it for what it is, entertainment, fun, an escape. What happened to Wayne is horrible but it is reminiscent of what happened to people years ago who said the earth is not the center of the universe, because people feared what they did not understand they chalked it up to dark or anti-religious and horrible things were done to good people. At this day in age this should NOT STILL BE HAPPENING!!! We are all humans we are all together and until we can learn to work together and help people instead of bastardizing that which we do not understand this type of behavior will continue!!! I’m going to stop now before this goes to far but myself and everyone involved with TDD are pushing for you Wayne!! Even though you may never read this, you always have someone you can call or just talk to.
